Introduction to Electric Clamp Butterfly Valve:
Electric clamp type butterfly valves rely on the power supply of electric actuators to control the opening and closing of valves. Electric clamp type butterfly valves themselves do not have flanges, and the valve body thickness is relatively thin. They are directly clamped between the flanges at both ends of the pipeline with a set of bolts passing through the bolt holes, and then connected with bolts. Therefore, they are particularly suitable for working conditions with limited space and short pipeline distances on site. Due to the possibility of bolt expansion and leakage in high temperature conditions, it is generally not recommended to use clamp type electric butterfly valves in high-temperature conditions.

Application of electric clamp butterfly valve:
Electric clamp butterfly valves are divided into hard seal and soft seal according to the sealing material. Soft seal butterfly valves are of the midline type and are generally used in places with low temperature, pressure, or corrosive media. They have advantages such as anti-corrosion and zero leakage. Metal hard sealed butterfly valves are mostly double eccentric or triple eccentric, which are not only suitable for normal temperature and pressure applications, but also widely used in high temperature and high pressure conditions. The valve seat and disc plate do not rub, and have the advantages of long service life. The clamp type electric butterfly valve can be quickly opened and closed by rotating 90 °. Depending on the functional options and operating conditions of the electric actuator, it can be used to control the opening and closing of the valve, as well as to adjust the flow rate and pressure of the medium.

Installation instructions for electric clamp butterfly valve:
Electric clamp type butterfly valves are generally not suitable for the end of pipelines and downstream situations that require disassembly, because when the downstream flange is disassembled, the clamp type valve will fall off, and in this case, a short joint must be made separately for disassembly. Flange butterfly valves do not have upper problems, but the cost will be relatively high.
The use of clamp type electric butterfly valves and flange type butterfly valves is the same, both regulating fluid flow. The difference between them lies in their installation form. When the pressure is too high, it is recommended to use flange type butterfly valves. For dangerous fluids, it is also recommended to use flange type butterfly valves.
